We are very busy at the new space unpacking boxes, organising, trying to get approval to open (so many permits and inspections).

Timothy (my son) and I put up one of the signs on the front of the building. We have had several people drop by to see if we are open you - sigh - not yet. It is looking like it will be Tuesday (I have to give Alberta Health Services some notice before they come out to do an inspection and I want to make sure that we are going to be approved this time - we weren't at the stage to be approved when they did an inspection earlier this week).

So many things! BUT we did decide to do a fun thing - we are having a party!. I wanted to have some kind of event to say goodbye to this space that has served me/the store well for most of our 18 years in business. We are going to make it a fundraiser as well. Please stop by and help support these organisations (Doctors without Borders and iHuman), share some time with old and new friends and help say good bye to the space.

The farewell party will be held at the old space (10832 Whyte Avenue) on Saturday, January 30th, 2010 starting at 8:30pm.
